How billing works
- Monthly by default. Annual is an opt-in discount, never an auto-renewing minimum.
- Hard spend caps. Set a monthly cap per platform or per merchant that alerts or blocks commits. Quotes keep working.
- Alerts at 50, 80 and 100% of your cap, and when volume jumps past 3× its 7-day average.

Questions
What counts as a committed transaction?
One successful POST /v1/transactions, which is usually one invoice or one order. Replays of the same external_id aren't counted again. Neither are quotes, address lookups, or test-mode calls.
Do design partners pay?
We agree terms with each design partner before any live traffic.
Does filing cost extra?
Dilo doesn't file or remit in v1. Liability reports come out grouped the way each state's return needs them, ready for your filing partner or accountant.
